Focus On: MAC Cornflower pigment

Cornflower is a striking periwinkle blue, with violet duochrome.  It applies best wet, but can be used dry for sheerer sparkly effects.

Apply wet(foil) to bring out the sparkle and vibrancy.

Using a heavier hand when blending shadows over cornflower(foiled) will tone down the nearly metallic sparkle.

Blending shadows LIGHTLY over cornflower(foiled) will preserve the glitter better.

Applied dry, the glitter is muted and it’s a pretty periwinkle.

Though it CAN be sheered out further. Over a sticky primer, you can preserve much of the glitter, while sheering out the pigment.
