Focus On: Fyrinnae Jade Ghost

Focus On is a work in progress. Have you ever talked yourself out of buying a product because the color was too odd, and you wondered how often you would really be able to use it? Or, you know those colors you LOVE because of some hidden versatility that you never imagined when you bought it? I do that ALL of the time. In the interests of loving what I HAVE, and learning its limitations, rather than relying on the influx of new colors, I will be doing this post every Saturday, focusing on a new color from my collection, with examples of past work, ideas for other uses. Please feel free to suggest colors you wish to see, or uses for the ones listed, or let me know what your favorites are for future posts.

Jade ghost is a pale white base, with a pale green duochrome.  It almost looks gold, in normal lighting.

Apply to the inner corner or highlight with almost any blue or green look for a subtle shimmer.

Or apply over a dark primer for a metallic green(Look at the lower lashline)

It is subtle enough to be paired with bronzes or neutral shades, as well as brighter greens

This is just lovely. I always wondered what it would look like. Thank you.
P.S. what are the colours you used in the looks?

The introduction for the color names is actually a link to the appropriate post, for more images and color placement. Each of those looks uses 3-4 other colors, so I’ve kept that stuff largely out of the post itself. Most of them are other Fyrinnae colors(Anemone, Japan, Atomic Afterglow, Fire Opal), but I think look 2 used Sugarpill greens(Midori) It’s all in the links, with actual descriptions.
