today’s technicolor temper tantrum.

Because we are in the midst of yet another family crisis. I’m getting tired of this. Since the man wasn’t around to rage with me today, I ended up taking it out on my poor makeup collection.  The boyfriend says “I don’t think color expresses anger the way you think it does.”  Shows what HE knows!!!

I used Sugarpill eyeshadows in Tako, Dollypop, Buttercupcake, Magentric, Absinthe, Tipsy, and Poison plum, Buxom lashliner in Black, Buxom mascara.  Cheeks are colored with Benefit Dandelion, and contoured with NARS Casino.  Lips are filled in with a discontinued MUFE lipstick color, and glossed with Illamasqua Petulant intense lip gloss.

Oh, I doubt it. We’ve been drifting from one crisis to the next for months. The boyfriend has all but lost his job, cutting nearly half of our income, and mine has gotten to the point where it’s unpalatable. So I’m carrying our bills working one job that keeps me in so much pain that I’m almost bedridden, and with the makeup stuff on top of that. I spent November working seven days a week almost all month, between shoots and grave shift, while he looks for a new job. There’ll still be no holiday plans, since we need every penny, and I think his reduced hours STILL have him on the schedule for christmas and christmas eve. He worked 11 hours thanksgiving day, and I spent that weekend in and out of shoots. So we REALLY haven’t had a holiday season. Add various other family dramas to that, including multiple relatives having heart attacks through the Fall, and you’ll get an idea of why, after months of this, I don’t want to look in the mirror. I don’t want to talk to people. I don’t want people to talk to me. And of course I have to do all of the above to continue making new connections with photographers, and promoting myself for bridal work, as well as all the rest of the time spent coding website updates, editing new promotional material, sending promotional material out….

I really hate being this busy.

Ouch. You certainly need a break in this horrid luck. Let’s “ask the Universe” for things to go better. You deserve it!! xoxo Susan

Yeah, each time we look at each other and say “the next thing that happens will be a GOOD one!” and although some of the things have been steps in the right direction, it still has kept the stress level absurdly high. Oh well.
